Stadium Information

Away supporters are situated in the South Habbin, which is a split terrace/seated stand. There are 900 terrace spaces available and 106 seats. Entrance to the stand is located on Coldhams Common, which supporters can access either from Newmarket Road or Coldhams Lane. From the Club Shop, head back out on to Newmarket Road, turn left and follow the foot path to the far end of the ground. Turnstiles will be open from 1.30pm, at which point the food and drink kiosks will also open. The Abbey Stadium is now a cash free stadium.

Getting There

By Car

There is no on-site car parking available at the Abbey Stadium and street parking around the stadium is restricted. It is therefore recommended Argyle supporters use the match day park and ride service instead. This is situated near the airport to the east of the city (CB5 8AA) and is a 10-to-15-minute walk to the ground along Newmarket Road. Parking is free at the Park & Ride for supporters who are walking to the ground, and the cost of using the bus service is £2.50 for a return ticket.

By Train

Cambridge railway station is located in the city centre and is a 25-30 minute walk from the ground. To get to the ground walk away from the station along Station Road and take the first right onto Tenison Road. Take the first right again onto Devonshire Road, follow this round to the left, up to the next junction. Turn right - again - onto Mill Road. Walk over the railway bridge, then take the third left, (Sedgewick Street). Follow this road, pass a set of traffic calming barriers, and shops (at this point you are on Cromwell Road) to a T-junction, (Coldham's Lane). Ahead of you should be a large field (Coldham's Common). Go into this field and follow a path under the railway bridge to the away turnstiles.

By Bus

Away supporters will be able to purchase a special £2.50 return ticket from the Newmarket Road Park & Ride to ferry them to and from the Abbey Stadium. The ticket is valid for one passenger only. However, if travelling with children, the normal £3 Park & Ride ticket is also available to purchase, allowing children under the age of 16 to travel free with one fee-paying adult.

Nearby Pubs

Along Newmarket Road going towards the city centre is the Wrestlers Pub, which also serves Thai food. A number of pubs in the area have recently closed down, meaning there isn’t much choice without travelling into the city centre. To use the Abbey Lounge, see https://cambridgeunitedsupportersclub.co.uk/ anyone wanting to use it will need to contact them in advance of the match. The club is separate from the Football Club.
